Reflection Garden Celebration

The Reflections Garden Walkway’s (RGW) First Anniversary Celebration took place on Saturday, April 22nd seamlessly, despite the weather; proving the love and commitment the community has for the walkway and the cause, deeply rooted in its foundation.

The walkway was created and is maintained by the BJARCA Foundation. The BJARCA Foundation was founded in 2010 by a local cancer survivor. The purpose of the foundation is to raise funds which provide support, encouragement, and gifts to local patients who are battling cancer treatments. The anniversary was dedicated to Gary Buttermark, a well-known and respected member of the Bass River community, who passed away last December. Survived and honored by his wife, Phillis, surrounded by friends, Mrs. Buttermark bravely spoke about her late husband before placing a brick in his honor.
