The Township of Bass River has an Interlocal Service Agreement with Tuckerton Borough for building, electrical, and plumbing services. All three services are coordinated through the Tuckerton Borough Construction Office located in the Administrative Building, 420 East Main Street Tuckerton, New Jersey 08087.

COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (CERT)
Bass River Township is part of the Burlington County Community Emergency Respose Team (CERT) and the Pinelands Regional CERT Team. The Pinelands Team consist of teams from Bass River, Medford, Shamong, and Tabernacle. Each township team is under control of the local Township Emergency Management Coordinator. William Lowe, the Tabernacle Emergency Management Coordinator, is the overall Coordinator for Pinelands Regional CERT.
CERT Members must go through a 20 hour training program and are not permitted to self-activate. They operate under the direction of the Pinelands or local coordinator. Any Bass River Township resident interested in more information or in joining our local CERT Team should call Mike Fitzgerald.

The Burlington County Health Department website contains health related services and a link to COVID-19 information including where and how to get virus testing.
The Burlington County Emergency Notification System is switching providers from CodeRED to Swift911 in order to save money and better coordinate with surrounding counties. Although registration information from residents will be carried over, all residents are urged to sign up under the new system. This article describes the changeover. Register Ready is New Jersey’s Special Needs Registry for Disasters. It collects information about residents with disabilities / access / functional needs and their families, friends, caregivers, and associates so emergency responders can better plan to serve them in a disaster or other emergency. The information will be held securely and only used for emergency response and planning. You can register online or registration forms are available at the Bass River Township building.
